On this road to faith, here’s what I’m learning…
Three years ago, the Lord called me to follow Him again. That might sound like a big, spiritual moment—but the truth is, He calls all of us. This time, I chose to answer.
What does it mean to answer that call? I’m still learning, but I’ve found a few things matter most: spending time in God’s Word, praying honestly, and surrounding myself with other believers. These aren’t just things to check off a list, they’re what slowly build a real relationship with Him and grow our trust over time.
And here’s what I’m realizing: this journey is deeply personal. It’s not about “doing it right” or “being perfect”—it’s just between you and God.
If you’re wondering how my journey started, I’ll be sharing that with you over the next month, but here’s a small glimpse:
When the Lord called me, it led to something I didn’t expect—I moved across the country to start over. I left what was familiar and went to the Midwest, where my daughter was living, and began a completely new season in my life.
At the time, it felt like a big, uncertain step. Looking back now, I can see it was what I needed. I don’t think my relationship with God would be what it is today if I hadn’t chosen to listen and follow.
My faith journey started by spending time in God’s Word. So, I ordered a Bible and started with what I was familiar with, the New Testament.
Still learning to trust, still choosing faith
Susan
